We love creating fun and individual clothing and textiles with bold, quirky and unique prints that tell a story, whilst carefully choosing organic and fairly traded materials and ethical production ways for the canvas of our ideas.
Our fascination with tribal art and folklore, pretty much all things out of the ordinary, the visionary world of artists, musicians and the wonders of nature serve as our never ending design inspiration.
We develop our print designs in rather old fashioned method, working with collage, free hand drawing and paint brushingWe then print our textiles either digitally , with silkscreens or woodblock and manufacture with much love in London, and Jaipur, India.

Sustainable and ethical production
The KOMANA collections are crafted using the finest, mainly  certified organic fabrics. The team spends a great deal of attention finding comfortable, unique and modern materials that are ethical and contribute to the livelihood of the people involved in its making.

We strongly believe in a fair living wage for all people contributing in our production - from the workers in the fields to the seamstresses!  Non hazardous dyes are being used for printing and dying, and any waste of paint is avoided, making sure noone is suffering along the whole supply chain.
Waste reduction during production is ongoing with an upcycling project in place using cut offs.
We have recently extended one arm of our production to Jaipur in India, where we work with a Fair Trade Federation accredited manufacturer who supports artisan based textile craft (such as wood block printing) and source local, organic and fairly traded fabrics.
